Consulting for church production ministries

Your production team is technically stretched and spiritually tired.

You've invested in cameras, consoles, and lighting rigs. But the people running them are burning out, cycling out, or quietly wondering if any of this matters. The gear was never the problem. I help churches build broadcast ministries where the craft is excellent and the people are healthy — because you can't have one without the other for long.

4 MINUTES · WHY THE GEAR WAS NEVER THE PROBLEM
SEG 01The honest problem

The church pays for training. The people need mentoring.

Every church knows how to budget for a workshop. Almost none know how to shepherd the volunteer who's been running camera 3 for six years and is one bad Sunday away from walking out.

I've spent 25 years in the booth — directing broadcasts, building teams, and pastoring the people behind the cameras. I've seen what happens when a church treats production as a technical department instead of a ministry: the stream looks fine, and the team slowly falls apart.

Technical excellence and caring for people aren't two separate jobs. They're the same job. That's the conviction underneath everything I do.

SEG 02What I believe

BROADCASTING IS MORE THAN A SIGNAL, ITS A CALLING.

Every lens choice, every camera move, every lighting cue either draws someone into a moment or pushes them out of it. Broadcast is emotional stewardship — you're handling the most important moments of people's spiritual lives in real time.

That means the technical decisions matter deeply. And it means the people making those decisions need to be trained, trusted, and cared for like the ministers they are.

SEG 03Three ways to work together

Start where you are.

01 · ENTRY POINT

The Broadcast Assessment

A one-day, on-site deep dive into your entire production ministry — signal flow, camera placement, lighting, mix, volunteer structure, leadership dynamics, and budget. You receive a written report with prioritized recommendations: what to fix now, what to plan for, and what to stop spending money on.

BEST FOR: churches who know something's off but can't name it.
02 · TRANSFORMATION

The 90-Day Intensive

We take the assessment and do the work together. On-site training for your camera, lighting, and audio teams. Leadership coaching for your tech director. Systems for volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and care. Alignment conversations with your worship pastor and senior leadership so the booth and the platform are finally on the same page.

BEST FOR: churches ready to transform, not just tune up.
03 · RELATIONSHIP

Ongoing Coaching

Monthly coaching for your production leader — part technical mentor, part pastor. Because the intensive gets you healthy; the relationship keeps you healthy.

BEST FOR: tech directors who don't have anyone in their corner.

I'm not a consultant who used to run camera. I'm a director who still does — and who has spent just as many years pastoring the people beside me in the booth.

Let's talk about your team.

Not a sales call. A conversation about where your production ministry is, where it's stuck, and whether I'm the right person to help. If I'm not, I'll tell you.

no pitch decks. no pressure. one honest reply.
