Who this is for

The Hermes Drive Connector is a private tool operated for Jesse Maitland. It is not offered as a public application or used to access another person's Google account without their direct consent.

Google data the connector accesses

When Jesse authorizes the connector, it can read files in Google Drive, including Google Docs and Google Sheets, so that requested files can be searched, summarized, organized, and used as context for personal or business work.

A separate, isolated write gateway can create or update text files only inside the designated Hermes Workspace folder. Google's Drive authorization describes its underlying permission broadly, but the gateway intentionally exposes no delete, trash, move, sharing, or permissions operation to the Hermes agent.

How Google data is used

Google data is used only to perform actions Jesse requests, maintain project context, and create useful personal or business work products. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers. Google user data is not used to train a general-purpose AI model owned by Maitland Enterprises LLC.

Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and service providers

OAuth credentials and connector configuration are stored on a private, access-controlled virtual server. Google content may be sent to an AI provider only when needed to carry out a request. Those providers process the minimum context needed under their own privacy and security terms. Credentials are not intentionally included in prompts or shared with AI providers.

Retention and control

Connector credentials are retained until they are revoked or the integration is removed. Files created in Google Drive remain there until Jesse manages them in Google Drive. Access can be reviewed or revoked at any time from the Google Account connections page.

Security

Reasonable technical controls are used to limit access, isolate write credentials, encrypt data in transit, and restrict available operations. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
